You know our family recently took a road trip where by day we followed pioneer trails, Lewis and Clark, & visited famous authors homes. But do you know what I was doing in the evenings? I'm sure you'd never guess I was catching Snoop Dogg live in Kansas City. A friend we were visiting mentioned his tattoo shop was right above the venue putting on the show. I think he was surprised to see me giddy with excitement. Very few friends know of my secret crush- don't judge me, I can't help it. I think it's all those naughty things he says- I should be offended-but I am not.
Outside our friends tattoo shop. I have seen Snoop in a cowboy hat so I went with the boots.
Balcony view with my ever indulging husband.
From below. I actually snagged this pic from the Kansas City newspaper.
I think this is the absolute last thing I ever would have expected to see posted in your blog, but I like it :D Snoop Dog is awesome!
ReplyDeleteJudge you? Never! I think we'd all be pretty boring if we were predictable, I love that you did something we wouldn't think you would do! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteI actually went to see Prince of all people in London with some colleagues from work, I wouldn't say I'm a fan as such but I knew it would be an amazing show & as I just kept refusing invites from work colleagues I decided to go to this event, he was awesome a real showman!

ReplyDeleteI came to your site from the BlogHer kid-floor-bed post, and I've been reading back through your blog here, because I was so intrigued by the vintage fashion with the 3/4 sleeve tattoo!
I don't wear vintage myself, but I love looking at it, same with tattoos [maybe someday!]
That is so cool that you got to see Snoop from your friends' shop across the way! I saw him in 2000 on the Up in Smoke Tour. :P
Cheers!
