Weight Watcher Update

Here we go.  The moment I have dreaded.  Updating my weight loss since this post.  I have been diligently doing the couch to 5K running plan for 9 weeks.  I can now run 30 minutes nonstop, although I need to increase my speed because it comes out more like 4.5K than 5.  This is quite an accomplishment.  On the down side I am not proud of my food choices and I doubt I tracked more than 3 days in these last 9 weeks. I think my results reflect this to a T.  I lost in inches but only a few pounds, 4, in weight.  So here we go....
BEFORE
AFTER

My measurement were 38-32-47.  Now they are 36-31-45.
I also think my legs look less "lumpy".  I am glad I made myself take measurements rather than just using weight as a guide.  I am encouraged but the number on the scale 164, still needs to come down quite a bit.  Now my goals are to continue running-and faster, and to get my eating back on track.  (I guess I 'll need to do less 'Okie Girl Eats' posts.)
I am going to have to be extra self disciplined because I just let me WW pass cancel.  My best friend and I go together and she is moving.  I tell myself I can do it with out attending meetings, after all I have gone for years -after each baby.  I am a little nervous and I am hoping blogging about my progress will provide much needed motivation.
I will post one month from today and I WILL be below 160!
Wish me luck!!

  3. Your legs look WAY toned! Go you :D You've done fabulous. Your bust and waist are smaller than myself by more than a few inches, and good lordy I wish I had a larger hip measurement than I do...You're perfect in my eyes ;) Even more perfect after 4 kids as I have had zero!

  4. Good job!! I like WW and I did WW online but was irritated that they kept charging me even after I canceled. (I didn't read the "fine print") I really like caloriecount.com. It is free and easy to use. In fact, I need to get back on there...UG!

  5. You look fab, what a difference even though it's only 4lbs you can really see the difference. I have struggle with my weight for years and continue to do so to my eternal torment, although I'm not doing enough about it at the moment, shame on me!

I have the total opposite shape to you, huge bust, disappearing waistline (I used to be an hourglass shape!), huge tum and then not much in the way of hips!

Just goes to show that exercise is really the key, we don't eat too much bad stuff anyway but I don't move around enough! Thanks for the kick up the butt!

  7. You can definitely see a difference! I think you are very brave to post your progress for all the world to see. Have you ever read the blog Bitch Cakes? She is a woman from New York who has been documenting her WW progress for years and I find her general dedication and discipline truly inspiring. She also happens to ride a beautiful pink bicycle around New York in heels, red lip stick, and perfect pin curled hair! Here is her link http://msbitchcakes.blogspot.com/
    All the best

  12. you look beautiful before and after. don't get hung up on numbers, just how you feel. if you are eating well and exercising then your body will be the weight it is supposed to be. i bet you feel so strong knowing you can run that long. the human body is amazing!
p.s. please don't call your legs lumpy. i hate hearing women describe themselves that way. you have beautiful strong legs in both pictures!

  15. I am so thrilled to have found this. I too am following a loose WW plan on my own. After baby number 3 was born March 31st, I instantly dropped 45lbs...then nothing. So I have been walking/jogging/stationary bike/elliptical + WW and kicking caffine (well the better part of the week anyway). Anyway, the scale has only dropped a few pounds in the past few weeks but my clothes have gotten bigger. I am down from a 24 to a 20 and hose are getting big too. Size 9 here I come you turd! Anyhow...thank you doll for posting your success!
